About Alex Brannon -
Growing up in Northern Virginia, Alex spent time in Arizona, Montana and Colorado with a goal of visiting all of the national parks there. An avid outdoorsman, he will hike wherever and whenever possible and play golf to unwind during the summer. Alex worked on a broodmare farm in Lexington KY while studying for his B.S in Equine Science and Management at the University of Kentucky. He was very active, including leadership in the College's Block and Bridle association. After graduation he worked in the veterinary field for a few years and then moved to Tennessee when an opportunity arose to work on his Masters in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences. Alex had Quarter Horses growing up, which catapulted his love of horses, and he has been involved in the industry ever since. He has been with Southern States in Purcellville just over a year.
