Where: Carpenters’s arena, 35805 Allder School Road Round Hill VA. Allder School Road is under construction. Do not follow Allder School Road detour signs. Approach from the west end intersection of Allder School Road and Woodgrove Road; drive by “Road Closed Local Traffic Only” sign. Farm is on the corner, turn right into gated farm driveway, and park on grass in front of barn across from arena.

What to Bring/Wear: Riding helmet, breeches, nods or riding tights, hard soled, over the ankle footwear. Pony, current coggins.

Mounted relay races for all ages and abilities builds, confidence, balance, teamwork and riding skills. New riders have fun and learn to ride effectively at the same time.  Experienced games riders and their ponies learn to go obediently in racing lanes away from the group, ride up to barrels, wait for the riders commands, ride with one hand and without stirrups, reach for ground pick ups, mount independently and efficiently, vault onto their ponies, work well in hand, and be tolerant of equipment, noise, and loud music.
