Opening Date:  June 10

Closing Date:  September 19  REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED!!

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity!  Sign up today to ride with Alita (Bunny) Hendricks at the lovely Kalorama Farm in Upperville, VA.  Spend the day riding, learning, wrapping and prepping with National Examiners on hand to help, guide and instruct.

FIVE Mounted Preps, hosted by VRPC, are scheduled May through September.  These clinics, taught by USPC National Examiners from around the country, are geared toward those VRPC members who are interested in testing at the national level in 2018.

Statistics show that clinic attendees pass at a much higher rate than those who have not taken advantage of these prep clinic opportunities! Sign up now!

The schedule will generally have one flat and one jump session, or two flats for the dressage per prep day. In addition, longeing and bandaging, plus a few new programs, will be fit in mid-day.  These are sections that riders often fail, so this is a chance to recieve some excellent, supervised practice. You will get the most out of a day-long attendance commitment. Attending these preps with other members builds comraderie and encourages learning through auditing, as well. Attendees often get unexpected instruction at setting fences correctly,  developing your eye, etc.

While these sessions are tailored to the C2 and above, mature members age 12 and up who are rising through the levels, are welcome to attend if space allows.  VRPC members are also welcome to audit.

Bunny is a Graduate A member of Difficult Run PC, in the Virginia Region and Suncoast PC in the Sunshine Region.  She has worn several hats in Pony Club (all ASTM approved, of course!), including being a National Examiner (>30 years), a Chief Horse Management Judge (>30 years), instructor/clinician, past member of the National Testing Committee, C3 Program, and Horse Management Committee a couple of times each, former chair of the Written Test Committee and D1-C2 Program Committee, rally coach and Festival Clinician, as well.  Bunny served as RIC for Sunshine Region for a total of 5 years.  In 2004, she was honored to be named a USPC Legend of Instruction and a USPC Festival Legend, as well as being honored with the USPC Founders Award in 2016.

In addition to her work with USPC, Bunny has actively participated in USEA Instructor Certification Program workshops for Flatwork and Jumping for ICP Level II, under Don Sachey and Phyllis Dawson (her Pony Club friend and Regional and National Rally teammate from the Difficult Run days).  She attends USEA ICP symposiums held in Ocala.

Currently, Bunny is the CVO (Chief Video Officer) of her company, AllHorseTalk.com, a website which produces and offers high quality equestrian education videos on all aspects of horse care and English riding disciplines.

Additionally, Bunny has a successful business decorating cross country courses through the FEI 3* level and stadium courses, as well.

Bunny travels throughout the United States as a clinician specializing in USPC Upper Level Certification Preps, C3 through the A Eventing and C3-B Dressage and Show Jumping, and the HB and HA levels.  As a popular clinician, she has traveled from the Carolinas to California, from St. Croix to Seattle, and many places in between!  She has presented several workshops at the USPC Annual Meeting over the years.

As a junior rider, Bunny competed in Hunter and Jumper shows, evented through Preliminary, and Dressage through Second Level, mostly at Frying Pan Park, which was next door to her home during her active Pony Club years.  Later, she did more of the same in Florida.

Bunny's current equine partner is Harry, a gray 16.2 OTTB, with the Jockey Club name of SenseofEntitlement.  Bunny, a retired elementary school teacher, and her mother live with 2 horses and 2 dogs at her Hunteridge Farm up on a hill in Trilby, FL (yes, they really do exist!).

She likes to remind people, "Be good to your horse and be good to yourself!"
