Standards & Certifications Clinic

Well known clinician Kevin Bowie will conduct the clinic which will introduce members, friends, parents, and instructors to the USPC certification standards.


5:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Club Level - D-1 through C-2 Standards and Certification expectations

8:00 pm to 10:00 pm - National Level - H-B through A Standards and Certifications expectations


Dinner and Door Prizes included! Free Registration! Instructors participating in this clinic will be added to our Regional Instructors List.

The clinic will introduce you to the Standards and Certification program developed by the United States Pony Clubs to establish Standards of Proficiency as an educational curriculum for a program of instruction and evaluation of its members for certification in three primary areas: Horse Management, On the Flat, and Over Fences.


About the Clinician:

Kevin Bowie is a Graduate "A" USPC member, a Pony Club instructor, a USPC National Examiner, a USPC Riding Center Administrator, and Co-Chair of the D-1 through C-2 Committee. Kevin is also an equestrian pioneer as on of the first female Jockeys in the United States. 

About Pony Club:

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (Pony Club) was founded in 1954 as a nonprofit national youth organization to teach riding and horsemanship through a formal educational program. There are approximately 10,000 Pony Club members in over 600 clubs and riding centers throughout the country. Many of the nation’s top equestrians, including several of our Olympic team members, business professionals, government leaders and career military officers, have roots in Pony Club.
