What is a Quiz Rally?

Quiz Rally is a team competition used to educate Pony Club members in all areas of horse care. Areas of competition can include: Barn (hands on working with horses and barn issues), Mega Room (hands on recognition of equipment), Stations (teamwork to solve equine issues), Classroom (answering horse related questions verbally) and Written Test (answering written horse related questions). To give you examples of some of the questions our members might get at this rally, we have prepared two handouts: Ages 5-14, Ages 14+ These are not necessarily the questions you will receive if you join us as a non-member for our mini-rally this year. For example, we would not give you a question that would require membership for you to know the answer.

How can I learn more about joining Pony Club?

We will have membership booth at Quiz Rally and encourage you to talk to people there. Generally, members join a local club near their home or barn. You can see a general map of our local clubs on our website and contact each club's or center's officers directly. Or, you can contact our VRPC Membership Coordinator at VRPCMembership@gmail.com to find out which clubs or centers you should consider.
